"Crock Pot" RAK15 headed to AUSA 2011, Washington in October
Following a successful exhibition at DSEi 2011 in London, Electrothermal will be hosting a stand at the forthcoming 2011 AUSA (Association of the United States Army) which will be held in Washington on October 10-12th. Taking pride of place at the stand will be Electrothermal's infamous "Crock Pot", the RAK15/30. Come and visit us at Stand 867.
"Crock Pot" and "Morale Booster"
The RAK 15/30 vehicle mounted vessels are designed to heat MREs and provide hot potable water on demand for the armed forces worldwide. They are designed to withstand the most rigorous environments and can be installed into land-based vehicles, ships, planes and helicopters.
At present, there are more than 20,000 combat-tested units in the field in the US alone, and they have certainly proven their worth over the years; in fact, so integral are they to troops' morale, that they are affectionately known as the "Crock Pot" and "Morale Booster" within the UK and US armed forces.
This September's Defence & Security Equipment International (DSEi) exhibition, hosted the world's largest ever display of land, sea and air applications of defence and security products. In total, there were over 29,000 visitors from 46 countries, including several Government Ministers, and senior military dignitaries from the UK and overseas.
